Yamaha NX-50 Powered Speakers for Computer
The Yamaha NX-50 powered speakers are beautiful to look at, but so much more. They’re unique cabinet shape features a front-ported design for a deeper frequency response and more output than you’d think possible from a pair of powered computer speakers. Imaging is optimized for the narrower physical distance presented by use on a desk or with a computer system. These computer speakers are designed to be paired with a Mac or PC desktop of laptop system, and the dual mini-jacks can handle two sources at one time, thanks to an “auto-mix” function.
Volume is controlled via a front panel rotary dial, and a headphone jack means you can plug in at a moments notice and disable the speaker output. An auto standby mode means you don’t really have to turn the system on—making it always ready to go when you are. Physically, the speakers look sophisticated, with an angular tilt that lays the speaker back, placing it at an optimal angle for imaging with your ears if you’re sitting at a desk. With beautiful metal grilles, these speakers, while designed for a computer, also look great next to a modern flat panel display.
The Yamaha NX-50 powered speakers use an automatic loudness control that compensates the bass to match the particular volume level (boosting bass to more audible levels during lower output levels and tempering it when the volume goes up).
