Integra DTR-70.6 HDBaseT Receiver with Dolby Atmos
Integra showed off its newest DTR-60.6 and DTR-70.6 AV receivers as well as their flagship DHC-80.6 Network A/V Controller. All three models come with Dolby Atmos. Additionally, a firmware update in September will allow the company’s existing mid-range network A/V receivers (including the DTR-30.6, DTR-40.6 and DTR-50.6) to support Dolby Atmos decoding. The Integra DTR-70.6 HDBaseT Receiver with Dolby Atmos is particularly impressive because it will retail for around $2800 and deliver (in my opinion) the best bang for your buck.
These new Integra AV receivers all feature THX certification and HDMI 2.0 inputs and outputs. That means they’re ready for 4K/60Hz video passthrough and upconversion. All also incorporate HDCP 2.2 copy protection. Both the HDBaseT and HDMI output ports in these four new AV receivers can be assigned to the main zone, or reassigned to send surround sound to a second-zone.

Integra claims these AV receivers utilize hand selected, audio tuned parts for low-impedance, high-current performance. The new DTR receivers and DHC controller also feature dual 32-bit DSP engines that decode, scale, and calibrate Dolby Atmos as needed to match any home theater configuration.

Regardless of which AV receiver you buy, our takeaway from this was excitement over both the integration and proliferation of Dolby Atmos, and the excitement of seeing more HDBaseT integration.
