The BenQ MW665 projector has 3,200 ANSI lumens of light output, a 13,000:1 contrast ratio, and BenQ’s SmartEco mode which increases bulb life while reducing energy consumption. The new projector is designed for houses of worship, classrooms, boardrooms, and other professional applications. The BenQ has a native WXGA resolution (1366×768) and features LAN display and control as well as wireless connectivity. You can also use the BenQ QPresenter Pro app which allows multiple people to collaborate and share documents, photos, and Internet content directly from their mobile devices. For commercial boardroom applications, this is a really great and efficient feature.

“The MW665 makes the most of any BYOD scenario by facilitating the delivery of content in any setting. This new projector offers easy installation and setup, provides remote maintenance and monitoring functions, and, with BenQ’s Colorific and SmartEco technologies, delivers high performance and energy savings throughout the product’s lifecycle.”

The LAN control on the BenQ MW665 means that IT managers can enable remote monitoring and control directly from an administrator’s workstation. LAN display lets you send audio and video to the projector using just a single LAN cable or you can go PC-free and use a project sourced from a USB drive. For custom installations, the BenQ MW665 has AMX, Crestron, and PJLink support as well as both horizontal and vertical keystone correction.

The BenQ MW665 projector’s SmartEco mode automatically adjusts lamp power by up to 70 percent, giving you a whopping 10,000 hours of lamp life when you don’t require the full output of the lamp (3,200 lumens). An “Eco Blank” mode is also available to let users black out the screen when it’s not needed. If no source is detected after 3 minutes, the projector also automatically lowers the brightness down to 30 percent. Standby mode does even better, lowering power consumption to less than 0.5W.
